My Story
I am Christian Choi Po Hung, a Full Stack Developer and Software Engineer based in Hong Kong. I graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a degree in Creative Media (BSCCM), specializing in interactive computing. During my studies, I participated in a study exchange program at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I further developed my expertise in Creative Computing. As co-founder of localhost-studio, I merge creativity with technology to build transformative digital experiences.
My journey spans diverse domains: over four years in education technology and instruction, IT consulting at one of the ‘Big Four’ audit firms where I delivered efficient client-site solutions, and now as a Software Engineer at Seek. This varied background has shaped my adaptability and leadership, enabling me to thrive in dynamic environments and tackle complex technical challenges.
My work is deeply informed by my passion for Sound Production, Visual Effects, and interactive graphics—disciplines that are central to my creative identity. I believe in the power of technology to inspire and engage, crafting immersive projects that resonate with audiences and create meaningful impact.
